New promotional campaign focused on the apple's explosive energy supply

Kanzi® achieves much higher sales than last season in Spain

Kanzi® apples are becoming increasingly popular among Spanish consumers, with a consolidated position in all sales channels. Five months after the start of the sales campaign and on the eve of the launch of a series of important promotional initiatives, now it's the time for the first evaluation. Kanzi® apples are marketed in Spain by the Italian consortium VOG, together with the Dutch cooperative FruitMasters.

"We are almost halfway through the sales campaign and we are very satisfied with the performance in this first part of the season," says Klaus Hölzl, Sales Manager of the VOG Consortium. “This year we've had larger volumes available compared to the previous season and the stock reduction plan is progressing rapidly, to the point that we are registering a lower percentage of stocks. This is due to great sales dynamics compared to last year.”

"We are sticking to our sales plan in Spain and this year we are seeing great satisfaction from our customers," says Fabien Dumont, head of production and sales at FruitMasters. "The Kanzi® is an apple with a balanced flavor, combining freshness and sweetness, but at the same time, it is also rich in energy."

In fact, the energy supply of the Kanzi® is the focus of a promotional campaign in Spain. Since January, important wholesale markets such as Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Bilbao, Murcia and Seville are hosting an Out Of Home campaign aimed at the B2B public in order to highlight the strong presence and success of the Kanzi® in the Spanish market.

Kanzi® Marathon Pack

Several marketing initiatives have been planned to promote the Kanzi®, like the Kanzi® Marathon Pack, created to offer a group of influencers an explosive energy supply. The apples are part of a special kit (containing a bottle of water, a neck cushion, Wi-Fi headphones and a blanket) which will be used to make posts and publish stories on Instagram, emphasizing the “energizing” role of the Kanzi® during long sessions in front of a TV.

In February, the Kanzi® is providing video game lovers with this precious explosion of energy, thereby reaching a younger audience. Some famous video game players will give the apples a bite during long and exciting challenges on Twitch.

Two months with plenty of social interaction for this unique apple, ahead of other attractive initiatives in Spain that will take place in March and April, starting with the great Recharge with Kanzi® contest, which will be giving away a fantastic electric Mini.
