Waste-free potato processing facility to be built

The Central Plains Group Ukraine company and investors from the UK and Finland plan to build a facility in Glynyany village in Lviv Oblast, for the waste-free processing of potatoes. The governor of Lviv met with representatives of of the Central Plains Group Ukraine.

The company is located in Velikoselki, Kamenka-Bugsky District, and has a total area of ​​700 hectares engaged in the cultivation of table and chip ​​potatoes. By 2020, the total production stood at approximately 15,000 tons. Last year, they built a potato warehouse with a capacity of 11,000 tons. This year, they are working hard to build the second phase of a potato storage facility with the same capacity.

As reported on east-fruit.com¸ the company also plans to increase the area of ​​potato cultivation. It intends to expand its production activities to process the grown potatoes into starch.
