The totem was designed according to the following characteristics:
- simple and quick to use by clients and operators. The machine had to be intuitive, as it is used by clients of all ages. Just take the bag or glove and the totem immediately issues another;
- operator management is just as important, and must be swift and intuitive;
- compactness, measuring 35cm x 35cm x h160cm, it is even smaller than standard steel totems;
- modularity, as the glove dispenser can be supplied separately to be installed bread self-service sections where paper bags are not available in rolls;
- modernity and hygiene, with UV rays that contribute to maintaining gloves sterile.
Bruna Lami, owner of Moderna Distribuzione srl in a Sigma store, comments by saying that "I always keep up to date when it comes to innovation and sustainability, and this machine is an excellent idea and an additional service for the clientele" - (Photo provided by Lucio Sighinolfi - Igea Develops)
"It is the perfect technological compromise not to scare clients while at the same time making them feel that stores care about them by investing for their protection and convenience. Feedback has been great wherever Igea dispensers have been installed."

Advantages compared to traditional solutions
"In addition to the advantages mentioned previously, Igea totems improve the purchasing experience of clients."
"The tests carried out in a few stores have been successful. There is a lot of interest for the product, and we have not even set up a commercial network yet! We are having to reorganize the production process thanks to LinkedIn requests alone."

"We are also talking to a Spanish dealer enthusiast about the product. Our objective is to widen our European sales network thanks to specialized traders that can manage sales, installations and assistance in their respective countries."
