The Axfood Group's purchasing and logistics company Dagab has signed a long-term lease agreement with the real estate company NREP Logicenters for a completely new national warehouse for fruit and vegetables. The new warehouse is located in Landskrona, creates conditions for higher efficiency and replaces the current fruit and vegetable warehouse in Helsingborg. The new warehouse, which is planned to be fully operational by the end of 2022, has a good location and infrastructure and enables a future automation solution. The warehouse is environmentally certified and compared with the warehouse area in Helsingborg, the area in the new warehouse in Landskrona will be more than twice as large. The total storage area will amount to just over 37,000 square meters with a possible expansion area of an additional approximately 8,000 square meters.
The investment will be seen as part of Dagab's long-term vision of building the strongest logistics structure of the future and contributing to improving the customer offering and customer meeting for all of the Axfood Group's customers. The new warehouse will replace the existing national warehouse for fruit and vegetables in Helsingborg and supply stores throughout Sweden.

In Landskrona, Dagab is also taking the opportunity to move its warehousing and transport operations, which are currently located at different addresses, to further optimize the flow of goods. The new warehouse will be a modern workplace that will be better adapted to the needs of the business. "We welcome Dagab and their employees to Landskrona. Since 2010, almost 3,000 new jobs have been created in Landskrona. Dagab will be a large and important employer in Landskrona, which is positive for both the city and the people of Landskrona and contributes to increased employment,", says Torkild Strandberg, chairman of the municipal board, City of Landskrona.
The geographical location is west of the Landskrona Södra traffic junction, where the logistics property is being built on a 96,000 square meter plot that the real estate company Logicenters is acquiring from Landskrona municipality.
