Award-winning bar Teens of Thailand sells durian to survive govt restrictions

Teens of Thailand is one of Bangkok's favorite cocktail bars. On April 29, it announced on its Facebook page that the bar will turn to selling the king of fruit, durian, with support from a durian farm in Rayong Chamnarn Yuvaboon.

The new ‘Teens of Durian’ project will be delivering a Chanee species of durian from the farm. You can pre-order this highly aromatic summer fruit to have at home with friends and family now via LINE (@yologroup). What's more special is the durian will be beautifully peeled and packaged for you to dig in immediately when it arrives.

Selling during isn't Teens of Thailand's first move to survive tough times, though. Last year, Teens of Thailand turned to churning out shumai (dumplings) and kanom jeen nam ngiao (noodles) to get some cash to support their barmen amidst the first alcohol ban.
