USPA Fruit initiated its first exports of Ukrainian fruits on the African markets in 2020. Now, the company plans to target more countries and to expand the range of products. In fact, USPA Fruit has become the leader in apple exports from Ukraine to Africa this year.
A company statement says: “By focusing on Africa, USPA Fruit has significantly expanded its exports of fresh fruit to new markets in Africa during the 2020/21 marketing year. In particular, USPA Fruit started to sell Ukrainian fruits in the following African countries: Ethiopia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Congo, Sao Tome and Principe, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Sudan, Liberia.”
Despite the global pandemic, USPA Fruit has not abandoned plans to take on African markets and successfully started regular exports of Ukrainian fruits there. Fresh apples were the first Ukrainian fruits to arrive in the African market. At the same time, USPA Fruit is gradually expanding its range with other fruits and berries grown in Ukraine.
