According to Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the nation’s fruit export to China enjoyed a great increase in the first five months of 2021, in spite of the pandemic.
Local media quoted the Ministry's newest report as stating that throughout the months, Vietnam exported more than 468,000 tons of mangoes to China, 12 percent higher than the total volume of last year. It also shipped 348,000 tons of bananas, 87 percent of the volume of 2020; and 301,000 tons of jackfruit, 92 percent of the volume of 2020, along with other goods.
According to an article on menafn.com, up to now, 1,703 planting regions and 1,776 packing facilities in Vietnam that produce fresh fruit and goods have been granted codes for exporting to China.
