Astronauts at International Space Station to receive fresh apples, tomatoes, kiwis

A 8,200-pound shipment is heading towards the International Space Station. Pizza is one of the supplies heading for the space station. But the shipment also includes fresh apples, tomatoes, kiwis, and a cheese smorgasbord. It was launched from Virginia's eastern shore in the US yesterday.

News.sky.com reports how Northrop Grumman's Antares rocket is carrying a Cygnus space vessel that will deliver the goods to seven hungry astronauts currently occupying the space station on Thursday.
