Study by British fitness club chain PureGym:

‘Denmark most affordable country to live healthily’

A study by British fitness club chain PureGym claims that Denmark is the most affordable country in the world to live healthily. The study compared 75 countries, assessing both the cost of staying healthy and the national average salary. The survey lauded Denmark for the way it has last becoming a benchmark of how a bustling city can promote good health on every corner.

One of its conclusions was: “Pay a visit, and you'll find that cycling for example, has been made to be much more accessible and attractive than other modes of transport in the city. Alongside this, healthy eating options are more readily available than in other cities and many educational institutions offer quit-smoking programs."
