Singapore updates requirements for importing fresh fruits and vegetables from tropical South America and Mexico

According to the Singapore Food Authority (SFA), on 26 February 2022, the Singapore Food Authority has updated the requirements for importing fresh fruits and vegetables from tropical South America and Mexico.

From 1 February 2022, the National Park Service of Singapore (NParks) has removed the phytosanitary certificate requirements for imported fresh fruits and vegetables originating in tropical South America and Mexico.

Therefore, Singapore no longer requires phytosanitary certificates for fresh fruits and vegetables from tropical South America and Mexico.
