"MWS and MPS table-top slicers for pineapples and watermelons will make their international debut at Fruit Logistica 2022," reports Virginia Cascella, export manager at PND, the international brand manufacturing advanced systems for companies dealing with fresh-cut, preserved, frozen and dehydrated products.

"Without the need for a lot of advertising, these machines have already become quite popular thanks to their reduced size, high-quality materials and ease of use. We thought the next Fruit Logistica would be the perfect place to launch them."
MPS and MWS slicers
The MPS slicer is a table-top system to slice pineapples and obtain rounds from a peeled and cored fruit. MWS slicers are instead for watermelons, which can be cut into triangles or wedges, with or without the peel.

Both machines are made of stainless-steel, which is notoriously easy to clean in work environments. Perfect for small fresh-cut laboratories that need quick precision work, the machines successfully complement the processing of fresh fruit.

"On April 5th-7th, our current and future clients will find us at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, hall 4.1 stand A-01. The entire export team will attend, in order to guarantee the best possible service. Of course the focus will be on the most exported machinery, as the PL1D pineapple and melon peeler and the SS8 universal fruit cutter will be on display and available to try."
The pineapple and melon peeler remains one of the most popular machines in the fresh-cut industry, as it is small yet reliable. In addition, it is intuitive and user-friendly and its pneumatic and mechanical components are easy to access, which makes technicians happy. Minimum downtime and continuous assistance are the points of strength of the company, which is popular both in Europe and overseas."
PND will also attend Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, an international event to be held on April 26th-29th, 2022. The machine catalog and the list of events PND will attend can be viewed on the company's website (below).
