‘Iceberg lettuces that cost more than a medium Big Mac meal’

A picture of refrigerated iceberg lettuces on sale for $11.99 each at a suburban Brisbane supermarket has much controversy.  The photo was taken at the Seasons IGA Redcliffe, in Brisbane's north, and was posted by Reddit user BrissieSandy.

On Reddit, people indicated that a McDonald's medium Big Mac meal only costs $11.60, making it cheaper than the lettuces.
