Lidl Belgium and Luxembourg has opened an new distribution center in La Louvière. "In the presence of Willy Borsus (vice-president of Wallonia), Jacques Gobert (mayor of La Louvière), Caroline Descamps (IDEA) & CEO Matúš Gála, director Central Reach Evan Lasage & region director Matthias Deleu our new distribution center was inaugurated in La Louvière," announced the supermarket chain on LinkedIn.
The logistics platform, located in the industrial zone Garocentre Magna Park in La Louvière, will have a total surface area of 41.805 m². This includes cold-storage and freezer space of over 15.500 m² with a hundred trays. The entire project represents an investment of 75 million euros, wrote Retail Detail earlier. Lidl says to be pleased with the inauguration. "A milestone for team Lidl."
