According to a study that tested the use of fertilizers on crops in Bolivia such as those produced by the Cochabamba Granulated Fertilizer Plant, also called the NPK Plant, it was found that these compounds increase the productivity per hectare of grain, fruit and vegetable crops, among others, by an average of 70%.
In the case of fruits such as watermelon, banana, pineapple, grapes, peach or citrus, the productivity of the cultivated hectare rose by 71%. Likewise, vegetables (tomato, carrot, beans, lettuce, etc.) were boosted with the use of these nutrients for the soil, since the harvest increased by 60%, and even exceeded 80%, as in the case of broad beans and onions.
