Dehydrated vegetable production to launch in Turkestan region

A new production facility for dehydrated vegetables, including onions and garlic, is set to be established in the Turkestan Region by the Chinese company Qingdao Wanlin Food Co, according to the regional administration.

The project was discussed during a meeting between the Turkestan Region Governor, Darkhan Satybaldy, and representatives of the company. The facility will be located in the region's industrial zone, with a total investment of $30 million.

In its first phase, the plant is expected to produce 50,000 tons of dehydrated vegetables annually.

Following these discussions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the regional administration and Qingdao Wanlin Food Co, marking the beginning of the project's implementation.
