Serviceplan and Fyffes write banana history

The German advertising agency Serviceplan recently used an innovative technique - attaching cartoons to Fyffes's bananas, using laser and a special printer. The aim was to make the banana more popular amongst children across nine countries by bringing them in contact with healthy foodstuff, in a playful way.

During the week, Fyffes have handed out the bananas to schools. The cartoons were developed together with the supplier 'Carlsen Verlag' are about the hero Fyfe, for whom bananas have about the same influence as a magic drink for Asterix and his Galliers.

Cosimo Möller of Serviceplan says, "The most important is that the message of Fyffe is received by the children; bananas are healthy, supply energy and therefore are a source of fun. And their parents understood this as well."
