The ambassador of Georgia, Konstantine Surguladze, visited Macfrut on the morning of Thursday 9 September 2021. Together with the President Renzo Piraccini and Chiara Campanini from the foreign office of Cesena Fiera, he visited some pavilions and then went to the stand of Georgia, where 8 companies were exhibiting.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia organized and financed the stand where the following companies were present: Kareli Fruits (with the Chikori brand), Georgiàs Natural, Blue Valley, Agrolane, Nuts ge, Caucasus Organic Fruits, August Fruit Factory and Geo Organic. These companies are involved in the production of fruit and vegetables and processed products.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia always supports taking an active role in international exhibitions with the aim of boosting the country's agricultural products. The ambassador said he was "delighted with the participation in such a specialized and high-level fair. Bearing in mind both past experiences and future scenarios, we are confident that international events like Macfrut 2021 bring positive and tangible results."
