At the recent Interpoma exhibition, one of the orchard/vineyard tools that generated the most interest was the Unica Duplex from the Calderoni company. "Basically, Duplex is a tool holder," explained Alessandro Calderoni, "that allows the most varied cultivation operations to be carried out by simply replacing the working device.

More specifically, Calderoni brought at the fair the the following tools, all of which can be mounted on the Duplex: discs (for scalping and tamping the soil), mini harrow (for cutting grass between plants), and rotary harrow.

And more: weed stripper (for clearing weeds and suckering the plant trunk), Bio Rotor, plant lifting plough (allows aerating the root system), summer weeder, mower disc, Ecorotor, rototiller.

The machine is equipped with a hydraulic widening that allows it to work in different types of plants with different widths from row to row. It is powered with electric controls supported by hydraulic pump and oil cooling radiator.

The Calderoni Rolando company was founded in 1975 by the entrepreneurial idea of the owner of the same name, after years of experience gained from his father Oliviero's farm.
Right from the beginning, Calderoni stood out for the innovation it brought to the fruit and wine growing field, particularly for the mechanical processing in the inter-row, a problem that was very much felt in the fruit growing area of Romagna.
