Tie Up Farming has management modules for harvesting, agro-technical jobs, and managing all of the chemicals and fertiliser in one platform. The real-time information is one benefit but what is really happening is that the farm is fully digitised and now strategic decisions about the farm and long-term decisions can be made with a click of a button. No more manual data collection from various software and excel spreadsheets.
The company has just upgraded their cost-capturing module, which covers all of the farm costs in the one platform, including contracting work, overheads and one-off purchases - which the agribusiness can attach to specific patches/blocks and farms.
"Also, for the upcoming harvest season, we have upgraded the harvest module, which now includes harvest for citrus growers and almonds, walnuts and pistachios. We are already covering apples and pears, stone fruit, avocado, mango, cherry, vegetables, berries and table and wine grapes. All the yield information is in one platform, and the cost analysis and calculations, which include labour, machinery, agrotechnical work and inputs like chemicals and fertilisers, are across the whole farming operations and across all types of crops," explains Roei Yaakobi, Chief Executive at Tie Up Farming. 
"We are seeing amazing results from our last release, mainly the new inventory management module for chemicals and fertilisers, which is linked to our spray, spread and fertigation diary. Our growers told us they saw a reduction of inputs used, which helped with ESG KPIs (sustainability goals) by more the 12% since that module was released!"
Roei said that this was achieved by having a real-time view of the inventory and what is available for the operator to use and timing orders from suppliers, not doubling up on drums, and seeing real-time information about what was sprayed or fertilised and how it affects the yield or the plant and more.

The platform is now being used by all the levels of workers in the agribusiness including the supervisors, operators, farm managers, admin and management as TieUp Farming covers more than 90% of the farm operation.
