The value of Turkish citrus exports during the past year amounted to 904 million dollars. According to data from the Mediterranean Exporters Unions in Turkey on Saturday, the amount of citrus exports during the past year amounted to 1,940,000 tons.
Russia topped the list of countries that import the most Turkish citruses with $429 million, followed by Iraq with $68 million and Poland with $46 million. Among the most exported citrus fruits during the past year were tangerines (mandalina), lemons, oranges and grapefruits, respectively.
