Experts explain the increase in prices for these products by the fact that many local producers are running out of stocks of high-quality carrots, the harvest of which was quite low this season.
Constant power outages have a negative impact on the quality of these products during storage. Today, carrots are offered for sale for an average of 17% more expensive than at the end of last week.
"Many farmers have already managed to sell the pledged products, the majority of large farms ship only according to previously concluded contracts," analysts explain.
