Frigga at Fruit Logistica with a variety of temperature and humidity loggers

New line of data loggers for 4G and 5G network services

It's the peak season for Chilean cherries. With the reopening of the Chinese market, logistics have gradually resumed, and more and more imported cherries have arrived in the domestic market. According to the Chilean Association of Fruit Exporters (ASOEX), the export of Chilean cherries is expected to hit a new high this year. Frigga is a professional provider of real-time temperature monitoring solutions. Recently, the company has received inquiries from many South American merchants. In an interview with FreshPlaza, Paddy, the person in charge of the company, introduced the company's recent export of temperature and humidity recorders.

Paddy explains: "According to customer feedback, many international customers have high requirements for the quality of cherries, and the demand is also increasing. Cherries are perishable fruits and are very sensitive to the environment. If there are individual fruits in a box, and if the fruit is damaged, it is likely that other fruits will also rot, and the loss will increase. Ensuring the quality of the fruit in the logistics process will directly affect the profit of the merchant."

He continues: "The volume of imported fruit in China is on the rise. We hope that using the cost-effective temperature and humidity recorder helps to meet the temperature monitoring requirements during the cold chain transportation of cherries, and help customers improve product quality control."

Frigga's product line includes 2 series and 4 types. "Our wireless real-time series includes two types of products: single and multiple times. The feature of this series is that it can realize end-to-end real-time monitoring and cold chain visualization. Merchants can view data through our cloud platform data service and carry out Dual system storage to prevent data loss. The second series is the USB series, including single-use and multiple-use products. This series is characterized by easy operation and high-cost performance," Paddy explains.

Frigga launches several new products every year. A few months ago, the company officially released two disposable temperature and humidity positioning recorders, V5D and V5B. At present, customers in China, Southeast Asia, Australia, Europe, America, and other countries have started to use them. Paddy gives a detailed introduction to these products: "V5D is a real-time temperature recorder based on a 2G network. Although some countries and regions are still using 2G networks, in some countries and regions, 2G network service will gradually decrease or even withdraw. For example, the United States will completely shut down the 2G network at the end of 2022, and will only provide 4G or even 5G network services in the future. Therefore, we have developed V5B for 4G/5G. It is worth mentioning that V5B is 4G/5G, a fallback 2G network. That is to say, V5B can be used in both 4G network and 2G network, which is very convenient."

"Now that the market has reopened, I think consumers will buy more fruits and fresh products, which also means that the market's demand for temperature and humidity recorders will further increase," Paddy concludes.

With the increasing order volume, Frigga has updated its logo and webpage, reflecting the comprehensive upgrade of products and services. The company will participate in Fruit Logistica Berlin on February 8-10.
