The Association of Producers of the Orri Variety (Orri Running Committee, ORC) has launched a new design for its promotional image, "focusing on the showiness and the visual appeal as distinctive features of this mandarin."
"The Orri's new image is the result of a creative leap, with the introduction of a new chromatic composition that maintains the visual weight, but with the use of green, fuchsia or purple tones combined with orange."
"This new image seeks to give Orri mandarins an identity as a variety, and not as a brand, and to allow it to maintain its status within the citrus world as a premium product and, at the same time, as a local product."
The image's redesign is part of the promotional actions that the Orri Running Committee is carrying out to improve the mandarin's popularity in both national and international markets.
To this end, some initiatives will be carried out in the main Spanish wholesale markets (Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza) and distribution chains, with a multitude of initiatives targeted at those who choose premium quality.
In the professional sphere, the promotional campaign will cover more than 80 wholesale market stalls, as well as hundreds of large distribution stores. The goal is to reach more than 10,000 specialized greengrocers across Spain.
Orri, the show goes on
According to Guillermo Soler, manager of the Orri Running Committee, "a new season has begun and the prices at origin of Orri mandarins are once again standing out compared to other citrus fruits on the market. When someone says that this mandarin is a record-breaker, it is because of the high appreciation and the high demand it generates in the market."
"The ORC is proud about the fact that the variety's producers, retailers and distributors are getting the best prices every year, so they are rewarded for their effort and dedication to agriculture and food," said Guillermo Soler.
