Prince de Bretagne was present at this year’s Agricultural Show in Paris, at the Terres & Mers de Bretagne booth, in order to “convey the values of the cooperative and of the Bretagne region, as well as to promote its producers to the general public.” Most French consumers are already familiar with the brand. “We receive very positive feedback. Visitors seem to know the Prince de Bretagne brand and consider the cooperative’s products to be qualitative.”
Games and demonstrations
For this edition, Prince de Bretagne organized several games to entertain and test the knowledge of the public, such as the “question wheel, with questions about vegetables in general, and about our own vegetables as well.” A way to educate the young and old alike, and "to make them discover products that are still relatively unknown, such as kale or romanesco cabbage. But we especially wanted to test people’s interest in fruits and vegetables,” explains Mélanie Urien, communication manager.
The cooperative also organized tastings with the Roscoff Onion Brotherhood, as well as demonstrations on how to braid the famous PDO onions.
Promoting the products
Prince de Bretagne was very present at the event, promoting its vegetables which were also presented by famous chefs throughout the week. Stéphane Pichon, Better Crepe Maker of France 2020 and manager of the creperie L'Armen in the Finistère, offered tastings promoting the products of the Bretagne region. Frigo Magic, the anti-gaspi recipe app and partner of Prince de Bretagne during the previous editions, also participated in the events.
