Austria: SPAR expands market leadership, retail sales exceed €9bln
SPAR Austria consolidated its market leadership position in 2022, with a market share of 36,3%, and food retail sales exceeded €9bln, equivalent to a sales growth of 4.7%. Polish retailer Dino Polska has reported a 28.5% year-on-year increase in like-for-like sales in its financial year 2022. Total sales, including newly-opened Dino stores, grew 48.2% to PLN19.8bln (€4.22bln).
