There are already plenty of Dutch chili peppers available at Nature's Pride. Advanced cultivation systems, continuity and cooperation ensure an early harvest, which means that Nature's Pride can supply a wide range of peppers together with its grower at the start of the season. "We expect a good season. The quality is promising, and with the increasing demand, there is still a lot of potential in chili peppers," says Bram Klapwijk, buyer at Nature's Pride.

"The first Dutch harvest came out of the greenhouses at the beginning of February this year. Due to the weather conditions, in which the amount of sunlight often left something to be desired, production was not immediately released completely, but it increased a little every week. We are now in full production, and that is unique. In the last two years, the Dutch chili pepper season has had large shortages at the start and high peaks in the summer months. This is partly due to the high energy costs. We notice that by using good cultivation systems, offering continuity and good cooperation with our growers, we ensure a stable supply, also early in the season."
"We stand for high quality and continuity and work together with growers who also strive for this. As a result, we ensure that the seasons connect seamlessly, and together we provide good coverage in quality all year round. In addition, we are always looking for new varieties, and we want to improve continuously. Everything for an even better taste, shape, and continuity. This is how we discover varieties that need less light to grow well. Those are great developments."
The Dutch chili pepper range consists of cayenne in all colors: jalapeno, red and yellow habanero, and padrone peppers. A wide range with a variety of flavors from mild to spicy. There is an increasing demand for chili peppers. "They are real seasonings, have many health benefits, and are gaining ground in the kitchen. With the continuous availability of all pepper varieties, we see enough opportunities this year to let everyone enjoy chili peppers."
