French production in full expansion

New French partners for Bimi broccoli

Launched in 2022, the French production of Bimi® broccoli is expanding with Larrère as the new French producer alongside Picvert in the first range, and welcoming Les Crudettes-C'ZON as a 4th range partner.

Larrère, committed to tomorrow's agriculture
Located at the heart of the Landes de Gascogne, the Larrère farms have been growing vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, leeks, turnips...) for generations, and the Bimi® broccoli has now been added to the range! The crop is grown from June to October in the Landes and the rest of the year on Portuguese soil in Comporta, on the Atlantic coast.

As players in tomorrow's agriculture, with a strong CSR policy, the Larrère farms respect nature, soils, plants and all the animal species found on their land, defending and spreading viable, sustainable agriculture. They care for the well-being of the men and women who work with them every day, and they know how to respond to the public's expectations regarding food and production methods.

Picvert, respect for man and land
Picvert is an independent French family-run agricultural business based in the Picardy region for several generations. It combines ancestral know-how with a passion for innovation. For the past two years, Jacques Deramecourt and his team have been growing Bimi® broccoli from June to October on the fertile land of Picardy, and the rest of the year on the Portuguese farm.

Grown and picked gently
Wherever it is grown, the Bimi® broccoli is treated with the same care. Harvesting is done by hand, and after picking, the florets are kept cool throughout the process, from packaging to shipping and sale. Keeping the product at optimum temperature helps preserve its nutritional and health-giving properties.

C’ZON, ready-to-use fresh vegetables
Located in the Loiret department, Les Crudettes - LSDH/C’ZON Group also distributes Bimi® broccoli in the 4th range. This range, a benchmark on the French market, continues to develop to meet its objective: to facilitate the consumption of fresh, ready-to-use vegetables for consumers on a daily basis!

Confirmed ambition
Last year's performance in terms of volume (+99% between 2021 - 2022) and the sales in the 1st half of 2023 (sales volumes achieved by the end of May 2023 are equal to sales volumes achieved by the end of September 2022) confirm the Bimi® in its strategic choices: an exponential presence in supermarkets, and development in the wholesale business and foodservice sector.

360° communication
The objective is to go even further by pursuing a massive communication plan, with active communication on social networks, media buying with advertorials, development of POS displays, recipe cards and in-store events to bring the Bimi® experience to life! TheBimi® is like broccoli, only better!
