The price disparity within the largest market near Almaty is "Altyn Orda"

The largest market near Almaty is "Altyn Orda," with over 5,000 trading places and more than 50,000 visitors daily. The total area of this trading and logistics center is estimated at 40 hectares.

Major processing enterprises and farmers from not only Almaty and its nearby regions, such as Almaty, Zhetysu, and Zhambyl, but also producers from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan supply their products here.

In early autumn, prices for potatoes range from 0.26 to 0.36 euros per kilogram. Onion prices at this market range from 0.15 to 0.40 euros, while sweet red peppers range from 0.26 to 0.40 euros, and tomatoes vary from 0.18 to 1 euro per kilogram.

Garlic is offered on the market for 1.2 to 1.4 euros per kilogram, and a bunch of fragrant cilantro costs 0.20 euros at "Altyn Orda."

There is a similar price disparity within the same market when it comes to fruits. Peaches range from 1.20 to 2.01 euros, and grapes range from 1.10 to 2.41 euros. However, the prices for expensive berries were relatively consistent, with raspberries priced at 3.01-3.41 euros per kilogram and black currants at 4.41-4.82 euros per kilogram.
