On Thursday, September 14, 2023, cybercriminals targeted the Dutch potato breeder, Royal HZPC Group. These criminals transferred a large amount of money to their bank account. Work is underway with banks and the police to limit the damage, though the outcome is still far from certain. An external forensic investigation has been launched.
To make matters worse, the Royal HZPC Group is in the final stages of preparing its 2022-2023 financial statements. These are usually adopted at the Annual General Meeting on October 5, 2023. The statements will reflect the crime that has occurred. The statement adoption date could also be affected.
