Camilla Bulgarelli from Sipo

The sale of Italian fall produce has started

Kohlrabi, celeriac, sweet potatoes, pak choi, turnips: these are only some of the fall products Sipo started selling this week as part of its "Sapori del Mio Orto" range. As the season changes, consumption is slowly veering towards fall products and the company from Rimini is not going to be caught unprepared.

"Our fall-winter vegetables are grown both in Romagna near our facility and in other regions by our partners. All this to guarantee that the shortest time possible passes between harvesting and delivery to the client," reports sales manager Camilla Bulgarelli.

As for packaging, there are many options: kohlrabi, for example, can be sold loose or in flow packs. Turnips are loose, zucchini flowers are places in 60 or 100 gram trays. Sweet potatoes (white or orange) can be requested both loose and in 650 gram trays. Pak choi can be loose or in 400 gram trays.

Sipo specializes in products that are considered niche by many, but which are very much in demand by the Italian and foreign big retail chain to complete their ranges. For example Sipo products reach Greece, France, Great Britain (thanks to the Sipo London office) and the Arab peninsula.

"Over the past few months, we have reached very pleasing sales percentages guaranteeing continuity to our clients despite the bad weather in some areas. This is possible because we work with a network of producers from all over the peninsula guaranteeing supplies that always meet expectations," added CEO Massimo Ceccarini.
