On Tuesday, Oct. 10, there was a verdict declaring bankruptcy of JamboFresh, located at Klappolder 191 in Bleiswijk. Mr. J. van Tilborgh was appointed as trustee. JamboFresh was active in the import of exotic fruits, including avocados.
"We were faced with crop failures in East Africa and that killed us. Container after container arrived in poor conditions and we couldn't serve our regular customers," said the business managers.
A relaunch of JamboFresh is not on the cards.
