The government has extended the ban on the supply of goods until the end of 2024

In Russia, the import of fruit and vegetables from unfriendly countries has been prohibited

Fruit and vegetables from countries that have imposed economic sanctions against Russia will not return to the country's shelves. By its resolution, the government extended the period of the ban on the import of food from unfriendly states until December 31, 2024.

The ban on the supply of products from countries that introduced or supported sanctions against Russia in connection with the annexation of Crimea was established by the Russian president's decree in August 2014. Initially, this applied to products from the United States, the European Union, Australia, Norway, and Canada. Later, other countries were added to the list.

The measure is annually extended. Currently, the ban on the import of agricultural products into the country has been extended to products originating from the United States, EU countries, Canada, Australia, Norway, Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
