Supermarket Sales Data

Sainsbury's sells 31.2% of all British apples

Every month, data is collated from British apple and pear growers on the quantity of British apples they sold to UK supermarkets. The latest data is below.

Here’s the same monthly data presented as a percentage of all British apples sold, by supermarkets (green line). The red line is a comparison data point of the grocery market share for that supermarket. We would expect the share of British apples sold to be about the same as the supermarket’s grocery market share, but some are doing much better than others.
