Approximately 500 tons of exotic fruits have arrived in the Primorsky Krai from China. Since the beginning of 2023, around 29,000 tons of various fruits and vegetables have been imported from China to the Primorsky Krai through the international automobile checkpoint Kani-Kurgan.
The import volume of exotic fruits amounted to about 500 tons, including fresh mangoes (240 tons), pineapples (78 tons), pitaya (1.5 tons), passion fruit (1.5 tons), kiwi (116 tons), figs (0.5 tons), medlar (0.5 tons), avocado (1.8 tons), rambutan (0.7 tons), and others.
It is worth noting that this year, for the first time, the Amur Region has received jaboticaba fruits – Brazilian grapes (0.7 tons) and waxberry – red Chinese strawberries (1 ton).
During the control and supervisory measures, all imported products underwent documentary control and were allowed into the territory of Russia.
