French freshcut manufacturer Voie Verte grows with weighing technology from Ishida:

"Technology has proven to be powerful and reliable from day one"

To meet the growing demand for sliced fruit, Lyon-based Voie Verte automated its filling process. Several Ishida fresh produce scales are now proving their worth in processing the sticky and delicate produce into high-quality freshcut products. The linear scales were specially developed for highly adhesive and pressure-sensitive food products, which present a challenge for automation. Due to the savings compared to manual processing, a payback is usually achieved after just a few months, reports Lebensmittelverarbeitung Online.

The increase in efficiency and flexibility allows short-term customer orders to be fulfilled. "Voie Verte is successful because we always adapt to market and consumer expectations," explains production manager José Carrion. "Ishida's technology supports our growth because it has proven to be powerful and reliable from day one."
