Fruit importer/exporter makes its Global Produce and Floral show debut

Salix Fruits, an importer and exporter of fresh fruits, achieved a milestone in its history by participating for the first time in The Global Produce and Floral Show 2023 as an exhibitor. This prominent trade event took place in Anaheim, California, USA and provided Salix Fruits with the opportunity to further establish itself as a player in the fresh produce industry.

The Global Produce and Floral Show, which continues the legacy of PMA and UFPA, is focused on the fresh fruit sector and allows companies to connect with professionals across the entire fresh produce supply chain, including producers, distributors and retailers.

Salix Fruits, which is part of the GrubMarket family, shared a large and significant booth with several other GrubMarket member companies. This booth became a focal point for interactions with industry peers, prospective customers and existing clients. Productive meetings with retailers were held during the event, strengthening business relationships and exploring growth opportunities.

Salix Fruits has experienced continuous growth in the U.S. market, importing nearly one million boxes of citrus in the past year. With a projected 50 percent growth for the coming year, the company aims to further solidify its position as a leader in the North American summer citrus season.

Salix Fruits' participation in the show underscores its commitment to growth and strengthening its presence in the fresh produce market. The company will continue its active involvement in the industry with its presence at the New York Produce Show (NYPS) in December, collaborating once again with GrubMarket family colleagues.
