Kaluga region increased the export of chanterelles by 42 percent this year

Approximately 570 tons of chanterelles were exported, marking a 170-ton increase compared to the previous year.

As reported by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Bryansk, Smolensk, and Kaluga regions, the main collecting areas for chanterelles were the Mosalsky, Meshchovsky, Spas-Demensky, Iznoskovsky, and Sukhinichsky districts. All mushrooms received phytosanitary certificates and were shipped to Lithuania and Germany. These countries are the main importers of Kaluga chanterelles.
