Agropecuária Schio is one of the largest apple exporters in Brazil. The company has been part of Frutas do Brasil since the beginning, the internationalization program of the Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruits and Derivatives (ABRAFRUTAS). Currently, the company exports apples to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, France, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, among other countries around the world.
Director of the company Francisco Schio has stated that the main differences of Brazilian apples are the flavor, crunchiness and juiciness of the fruit. Working increasingly hard to maintain this quality and these differences, Agropecuária Schio's goal for the future is to export around 3,500 containers.
