Peru exported 3,024 tons of garlic in October, i.e. 20% more than the 2,522 tons it exported in the same month of 2022.
The garlic reached six countries. The main destinations were the United States (with a 53% share) and Mexico (42%).
The main exporting companies were Agroexportadora Sol de Olmos S.A.C., with a 33% share; and G&L Foods S.A.C., with an 18% share. The garlic was sold to a total of 48 buyers.
