Since the beginning of the year, the region has received 35,000 tons of vegetables and fruits:

Tomato import from China to the Amur region has surged by 9.5 times

Inspectors from the Rosselkhoznadzor department in the Amur region and the Republic of Sakha have monitored over 35,000 tons of various fruits and vegetables through the international automobile checkpoint Kanikurgan since the beginning of the year. All shipments originated from China.

Currently, there is a noticeable increase in the volume of imported tomatoes, up by 9.5 times. There is also a growth in the import of peppers, which is five times more than the previous year.

All vegetables were transported in compliance with quarantine requirements and accompanied by the necessary phytosanitary certificates.
