The vegetable and fruit export season has kicked off in Horgos, marked by the dispatch of a refrigerated truck loaded with 2.4 tons of mandarins to Kyrgyzstan. The Horgos customs post ensures meticulous control and swift customs clearance for agricultural products through the "green corridor."
The exported products, primarily apples, oranges, and grapefruits, are destined for five Central Asian countries and European markets. The "green corridor" prioritizes order reception, convenient document processing, and control, facilitating efficiency for fresh produce. Customs representative Li Cyan highlights the convenience of this new route.
The "Belt and road" initiative has become a platform for mutually beneficial cooperation, expanding the avenues for exporting Chinese vegetables and fruits. A representative from a cargo agency reports a daily export volume increase to 1500 tons, with plans to reach nearly 40,000 tons by the Chinese New Year, a 60% surge from the previous year. Confidence in future development and the convenience of customs procedures contribute to the flourishing industry.
