European origin apple sees 20% growth

After record performances in 2023 in Italy, France, Ireland and Spain with more than 20% growth overall in Europe, Joya® apples are preparing for a new stage in their development in 2024, by establishing themselves as Europe's leading brand of European origin in the third half of the Spring/Summer season.

This outlook is underpinned by a high-quality harvest, a balanced distribution of sizes and taste, with sugar levels reaching 14°brix. Crunchy, juicy and sour... all of those sensations make Joya an apple much appreciated by consumers in search of freshness and tonicity!

In Spain, for example, it was awarded with the label "Flavor of the Year 2024". Its incomparable storage-conservation qualities, combined with its European origin, makes it the reference for the spring/summer period, positioning Joya as the best European alternative to imported apples from the Southern Hemisphere.

France, Italy, Ireland and Spain (80% of volumes in 2023) remain the key markets for 2024, to which Germany has been added with very promising development prospects. Today, Joya can rely on the dynamism of a group of 10 authorized distributors in France, Italy and Spain, all mobilized to successfully take this new step in 2024.
