Over the week, the Primorsky Krai in Russia received 6,000 tons of fresh vegetables and fruits from various countries, as reported by the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
From January 22nd to 28th, the region received 5,164.4 tons of fruits and vegetables from China, including 2,235.5 tons of fresh fruits and berries. Specialists note a consecutive increase in fruit and vegetable imports from China for the second week.
Additionally, 574.7 tons of bananas from Ecuador arrived in Primorsky Krai, with imports resuming after a week-long hiatus. Other imports include 212.7 tons of mandarins from Pakistan, 48 tons of pears from Argentina, and 1 ton of fresh berries from Egypt.
All pre-quarantine produce has been cleared for import by inspectors from the Primorsky Interregional Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor following quarantine phytosanitary controls.
