EU citrus import trend shows seasonal rise

The latest data from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development reveals the trends in the EU citrus imports. The detailed document shows that in January, the EU imported 51,687 tonnes of oranges, a notable increase from December's 13,472 tonnes.

The import of lemons saw a drop, from 19,761 tonnes imported into the EU in December2023 and 13,428 tonnes imported last month.
