Kyrgyzstan is set to export 400 tons of its finest walnuts to Turkey, as noted by the Ministry of Economy. This development follows the 11th Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Trade and Economic Meeting held in Ankara on February 9th. The forum witnessed the participation of delegates and officials from both nations.
A primary objective of this meeting was to foster opportunities for businesses from both sides, attract investments into Kyrgyzstan, and facilitate the smooth export of domestic products. Several sectors were highlighted at the government level for their successful contract agreements, aiming to bolster the trade sector.
Turkey has exhibited confidence in the representation of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Trade by signing a contract to import 400 tons of Kyrgyz walnuts. According to the agreement, the first batch of walnuts will be exported from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey on February 15th, marking a significant milestone in bilateral trade relations.
