Citrus exports from Georgia to Russia have surged, claiming the second position in terms of volume among goods exported from Georgia to Russia, trailing only behind wine during January 2024.
In terms of monetary value, the citrus exports amounted to $6.5 million, indicating a remarkable growth of 249% compared to the previous period.
More than 10 thousand tons of citrus fruits were exported from Georgia to the Russian Federation in January 2024.
