Since BioMasters has been operating fully under the FruitMasters flag, it has had the wind in its sails. There is significant interest from the market. The organic perspective, combined with FruitMasters' professional network, is attracting growers and customers alike. This has already resulted in 11 members within both the hard fruit and soft fruit product groups. Through close collaboration with growers and customers, BioMasters aims for a sustainable and flourishing organic sector.
In recent weeks, BioMasters colleagues Peter van der Schoot and Yvonne Witpaard have had intensive contact with growers and customers during various visits and fairs. Yvonne Witpaard: "During these encounters, we shared our mission and established a strong connection with the market. It became clear that collaboration within the chain is crucial for research, development of new varieties, marketing, and better returns in the chain for organic products."

Member growth
The launch of BioMasters has already led to the addition of eleven growers, including enthusiastic pioneers such as hard fruit grower Tim Moerman from Zeeland's Oost-Kapelle. Moerman emphasizes: "Professionalization is essential for organic cultivation, and that's exactly what BioMasters enables. By working together, we create a more accessible market with an increased perspective for organic products. Alongside BioMasters, I look forward to further development of this sector." Also, new BioMasters member and soft fruit grower Harald Oltheten from Oud-Sabbinge is positive: "BioMasters offers growers a professional perspective in organic cultivation. In our sector, it's important to seek out fellow growers and thus join forces. Together, we ensure that organic products become more accessible in the market."
Collaboration and perspective
Peter van der Schoot emphasizes the importance of collaboration: "Joining growers are glad that a professional entity has emerged to bundle organic volume towards the customer side. By bundling volumes, we can not only optimize programs for the coming year but also provide a perspective for further growth of the area of organic products. This not only stimulates current organic growers but also encourages growers to switch to organic cultivation. We also see that transparency in our chain and insight into sales is something that growers experience positively. It's crucial that innovation takes place and new club varieties are introduced, such as organically grown Bloss® and Greenstar®. These varieties are currently with some of our affiliated growers, allowing us to closely monitor development."

Category growth
The increasing demand from the customer side underscores the need for an integrated approach. Customers appreciate the ability to buy organic fruit directly from the source, supported by a professional and efficient logistics chain. Peter van der Schoot confirms: "The opportunity to develop this fruit category exists, especially since we have Dutch product available almost year-round. BioMasters offers a precise chain approach, essential for the success of the organic sector."
