These are the last few weeks that PGI Cuneo red apples, sold under the La Grande Bellezza Italiana (LGBI) brand, will be commercialized. "The volumes distributed over the past few years skyrocketed, thanks to the work of our partners, who believe this apple is a way to make people familiar with the Cuneo mountains, dominated by Monviso," explains Leonardo Odorizzi, member of the business network.
When it comes to the loose produce, each fruit bears a sticker, as per the specification. "Feedback has been excellent also for filmed trays containing 4 fruits, which are very appreciated by consumers because they are practical. These apples are available all over the national territory thanks to our internal logistics department, with 14 warehouses located all over the national territory."
"The campaign of PGI Gala red apples packaged under the distributor brand ended over the past few weeks. Over 800 stores were involved and the packaging was essential so consumers could recognize the produce and repeat the purchase."
Over 1300 stores are part of the LGBI distribution network. "An excellent result, considering that the branded apple segment is very crowded with around 60 club varieties."
