Armenia's fruit exports to Russia double following enhanced phytosanitary measures

The Food Safety Inspection Body (FSIB) of Armenia has completed a comprehensive inspection focusing on the phytosanitary examination of exports to Russia. This action was in response to issues identified by Russian authorities in November. The FSIB's efforts, including prompt resolution of issues at the expert level and consistent border inspections, have led to a significant increase in Armenia's fruit exports to Russia in 2024, doubling the figures recorded in 2023.
