Former army major to run Everest Marathon dressed as a lemon

Sally Orange, a former major in the British Army, is set to run the Everest Marathon on May 29, dressed as a lemon to raise mental health awareness. Known for running marathons dressed as various fruits and vegetables due to her surname, Orange uses her costumes to spark conversations about mental health. The 50-year-old will face the challenge of high altitude and icy conditions. She is fundraising for the Samaritans and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme. Orange, who has struggled with mental health herself, aims to inspire others to tackle their personal challenges.
